Every success
is a team achievement in a professional surrounding. We can’t pat shoulder of a
specific person for any bright event. Everyone in a team is equally important
and everyone should be appreciated for the achievements.
To take the spirit to
another level, it is crucial for HR leaders to utilize the positive vibes
coming out from the current achievements. To give more power to the team and
make the bond stronger than ever, team building activities would no less than
an icing on the cake after the success. Here are top team building ideas or games:
Poker Tower – When people do some physical
activity together, it improves the acceptance of other’s involvement in the
act. Otherwise, everyone tries to compete and leave others behind in the race.
Instruct everyone in the team to build a tower and provide them a pack of card
and a scissor. Divide them in 2-5 members in a team. It would help them work as
a team to achieve the goal (to build the tower).
A Truth and A Lie – Introduce each of the members with
their name plus one truth and one lie about them. Having made their statements,
allow everyone for a quick open conversation. It would help employees know
better facts about their coworkers. It would be a complete fun with a better
communication opportunity.
Movie Name – Divide members in two groups. Let
them decide 5 names of the movies that they will tell to one of the chosen
members of another team. Rest of the members from the opposite team will guess
the name while the chosen member will draw some objects to give clues about the
movie name. Let them decide a person who will draw. It would help them be
dependent on each of the members every time.
Cooking – Cooking would seem awkward in an
office premise, it would prove to be an exciting day for each of the members.
Divide them in 3-5 members in a team. Give them specific dishes to cook. Of
course, allow them explore through internet. It would help them connect with
each other as a team. Then, let all the cooked dishes served and enjoy them
together.
These are
just few of the examples to build bonding in your employees. You can explore
more team building activities and spread some positivity at your workplace.
