An MBA professional is responsible for managing top-notch administration process within a company and their main motive is to help a firm achieve their desired goals.

As long as it’s high paying, who gives a second thought to the stress or the ‘zero personal life scenario’ involved within a job profile. According to a global survey conducted by INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute (EMI), HEAD Foundation and Universum around 73% MBA’s chose work-life blend over their high paying jobs and around 82% understood the importance of work-life balance over their current job positions in a firm. This survey was conducted between 16,000 professionals across 42 countries in 2014.

Global economies have witnessed a rapid boost in the demand of MBA professionals and have created hundreds of jobs for MBA freshers in and across India. However, the employers have also understood an important fact that a professional who works for around 12-16 hours daily needs to be stress-free in order to have higher productivity. A sad, unsatisfied employee is not productive at all and hence firm is at a loss.

What if a firm does not practice work-life balance culture?

Well, there are several damages starting from financial loss to productivity. Over-worked and stress leads to an imbalance in reliability, efficiency, commitment and performance of an employee, that, on the other hand, affects operational and production costs of a firm. It’s a total loss for the firm.
